Antique Ship Model of the Great Republic Clipper Ship #3 of 5 Antique Ship Models we are currently Selling This is an antique ship model that is probably circa 1900 in age. It is of the Great Republic clipper ship which was the largest ever wood clipper ship built back in 1853. IT measures 42 inches in total length and 25 inches in height, and 8 inches wide. We took a lot of pics to give you a good idea of the age, quality and condition so please check them all out. It has a solid hull, so it is not individual planks. IT comes with the original wood base. The ship model is in pretty good condition, but not perfect, it does need a little work done to it. We definitely would prefer the winning bidder to pick this up in person so it wont get damaged in shipping. However we know that is not always possible so we can box it up the best we can at a cost of $100 for shipping in the continetal United States ONLY. We are not professional shippers so if it gets damaged we are not responsible. We can drop it off at a professional shipping company but they will probably charge around $400 to ship and pack this in the continental United States.
