Art Nouveau Aneroid Barometer A fine example of an aneroid barometer from the Art Nouveau period c1900 displaying the flowing lines and curves associated with this particular style in rosewood case with superb marquetry inlay, the 8" silvered, engraved dial signed James Lucking & Co, 5 Corporation Street, Birmingham and 37 Bond Street, Leeds, having the added feature of an alcohol thermometer to assist in forecasting the weather. Expertly and sympathetically restored to perfect working order using traditional and time honoured methods that would have been employed when the instrument was first made to ensure the integrity of the piece.
