  -STYLE: Art Nouveau -TECHNIQUE:  Manufacture Dust pressed clay tile using a mould & horsehead press- then burned-  Decoration Low Relief  molded majolica.  Decorated with colored glazes. -COLORS: 2 -FACTORY: .Alfred Meakin Ltd. - England -DIMENSIONS: 6" x 6"  -APROXIMATE DATE: ca 1900     A Fasinating design which fills the whote tile, an exuberant pattern with a massive stylised flower head. The very dark emerald green glaze contrast with the ivory cream color of the flower. Registered pattern number 46329   - CONDITION: This tile is in perfect condition, no flaws or repairs exist. Cement on reverse was carefully removed so minimal traces are remaining. Surface, as you can see, has a firm color and smooth glaze surface.
