Decorated with colored glazes. -COLORS: 5 -FACTORY: W & E Corn then Richards Tile Co. in 1903 - UK. Background word "England" with serif. -DIMENSIONS: 6" x 6" -APROXIMATE DATE: ca 1900 Is characteristic of this firm the use of colour in spots; in areas of color along design.- This conferes an unique looking very vernacular. Ilove this tile! Look so many colors. - CONDITION: This tile is in good ondition, no flaws or repairs exist. Cement on reverse was carefully removed so minimal traces are remaining. Surface, as you can see, has a firm color and smooth glaze surface. Only minimal chips may be seen, but this is nothing for a more than 100 year old architectural piece.
