We are listing this beautiful quality mahogany multi-drawer tall chest on chest. Dating from the 1940s, this is a beautiful chest with two large deep top dovetail drawers. The step out base has a simulated two drawer (which is really a large one drawer), and then two drawers underneath. All of the drawers are dovetail and raised panel with the original cast heavy-duty brass hardware. The base is a solid pad cut out French foot, there are scallops along the feet, double molding along the step backs and is finished in a dark reddish brown stain color. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 56.5 inches high. It has been re-sprayed in a dark reddish brown stain finish with a clear coat lacquer on top.
