INTENSELY BEAUTIFUL VERY FINE WONDROUS 9 1/4" ART GLASS VESSEL WITH INCREDIBLE GOLDEN ENAMELLING GORGEOUS ART NOUVEAU FLOWERS WITH LEAVES AND SWIRLS I have done extensive research on this piece and believe that this amazing vase ~ with lavish gilt rococo adornments ~ may have been made by Thomas Webb & Sons around 1890 in England Just look at this vase ~ It is so incredibly beautiful! The Art Nouveau Lily shape is sensual and majestic. Unbelievably superb, skillfully hand rendered, fabulous and elegant, enamel floral and lyrical designs are so lush they even feel like real blossoms. This is a very special masterpiece of tremendous beauty. Gorgeous clear glass is adorned with sweet, pulsating persimmon and tantalizing tangerine flowers, stunning leaves, sensuous swirls, flowing designs and glorious golden details. The gracefully flower shaped, ravishingly ruffled rim is exquisite! Intriguing, subtle facets add even more interest to this enchantingly adorned vessel. The organic elements, soft, yet glowing, colors, elegant contrasts and sensual shape are lovely and luxurious. It is incredible! This especially sweet and special vessel measures 9 1/4" high and 4 1/2" across its outstanding open mouth. A magnificent vase, it is in excellent condition, especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks. Enamel designs are almost all intact and there is some loss of gold from age and wear, mostly on the ruffle. It needs a good interior cleaning, which I will leave to the winner. Sale is final.
