On the pipping or welting on the side I used antique French ticking from Ebay seller Loodylady. All the perfectly complementary colors remind me of a candy shop. Its one of these pillows that looks good enough to eat! New down feather insert 18" x 22" Closes with 3 genuine abalone shell buttons, two have the same barkcloth tailered buttons and the other a hemp linen loop! ONe of the beauties of these old French barkcloths is that they can be laundered! I have done this prior to sewing. Hand wash in cold water recommended and lay flat to dry.
