The back is tufted, and the top has an absolutely beatiful, hand and filigree carved shell motif'. The feet are classic claw feet but they go far beyond that. They are truly stunning. They have shell carvings at the top of the cabriol legs and then feather carved acents that wing out from the leg on both sides. There are floral carvings, leaf carvings and more! It has been newly uphosltered in a gold colored European jacquard. The fabric is trimmed with a matching gimp, which was hand tacked using antique'd brass tacks. It is a beautiful piece!!!! What makes this piece so spectacular is the arms of the sofa. Both sides are intricately carved with Eagles. The craftsmanship is totally amazing! These pictures really do not do the piece justice. We normally ship within 2 weeks of receiving payment, however shipping can sometimes take up to 4 weeks. We send confirmation upon receipt of payment via Ebay and again at the time of shipment along with any pertinent tracking information/carrier, etc. Local pickup is welcomed as well, we do charge a $25 fee (one fee no matter how many items are picked up) nad sales tax. PACKING: We outsource our packing to a small company which custom makes boxes/crating for each piece sold. This is included in the cost of shipping. Your furniture will be very professionally packed. It does take time so please remember we ship within 2-4 weeks of receiving cleared payment. NON PAYING BIDDERS: As sellers, we are charged roughly 10% of any given items sales price by Ebay ...this includes both listing fees and final value fees.
