A while back I started collecting Trivets mostly bought off of ebay. I am now downsizing and selling some of them . I am listing seperately but the more you buy I can save you on shipping by shipping in a flat rate box which does not go by weight or zip code . First up I have a 4 footed cast iron trivet with a very basic design . I have not been able to identify the design but would guess it could be a seven point star or heptagon? . In the late 1800's to 1920's it was popular to apply a top coat to prevent rusting in which this does have as you can see in the pictures some is worn off . I can not find any maker's mark . Measurements are all taken from the widest points approx 8" long by approx 4" wide and stands aprox 1/2 '" Please feel free to email me any questions I am not an expert on these and as always thanks for looking
