This wonderful old antique bowl came out of an old turn of the century or earlier farmhouse in Southern California that had been in the middle of a Walnut grove. The farmer moved to town in the early 1960s when he got too old to keep up the farm and sold his farm and this bowl had been in storage for 30 years when I found it. I do not know the kind of wood it is made of but perhaps you can tell from the photos. The wood appears to be a bit dry. The cracks you see in the photos have been there since I have owned it. Please look at the photos and ask any questions before purchase. The bowl measures about 14-1/4 to 14-1/2 across the top. It is not perfectly round so you get a different measurement depending on where you measure. The height of the bowl is about 4 inches.
