A wonderfully PAIR of French Country side tables with drawer, 21 1/2" high x 15 1/2" wide x 22 1/2" deep. The pieces are a quite stylish and very unique in style with their cabriole legs, scalloped skirt on front and both sides. The molded drawer adds depth and dimension. Back of tables are finished so the tables don't have to be up against a wall. Don't think this is the original finish but this finish appears to have a nice hand rubbed and aged patina. Hardware is original to the pieces. The height of these tables is perfect for most sofas and chairs. This pair is loaded with European style, the wood is not an American wood, appears to be some type of fruit wood/olive wood used primarily in France and Spain, whatever kind of wood is is, it is a fairly heavy hardwood, not easily dented or scratched. But what makes this table so outstandingly beautiful is its herringbone top in a contrasting darker wood. Not sure of age but they appear to be at least 50 years old. All in all probably the best pair of French side tables I have seen in a very long time, please e-mail of you have any more questions.
