I am pleased to offer this RARE 1920's or 1930's ? SLINGERLAND MAY BELL BANJO UKULELE - BIRDSEYE MAPLE - PLAYS WELL - NO RESERVE! - at auction. I recently acquired this wonderful old instrument from a local area estate. The elderly man had many fine items! I am not an a musician or musical instrument expert, so I will try to describe the item as well as I can. The piece is in excellent playable condition (see images). It sounds great. It is used and it has a chip out of the wood bridge (see images). It measures approx. 21" long and has a diameter of approx. 7". It is a Slingerland May Bell. I have been told they were from Chicago in the 1920's and 1930's. The skin has some black marks from use. The instrument has been stored for many years and needs cleaning. I am starting these great instrument very low and without any reserve! An excellent opportunity to acquire a rare MaY Bell Slingerland banjo ukulele for your personal use or collection!
