Ancient Medieval Solid Gold Ring (Possibly Roman) Beautiful Red Center Stone Magnificent Condition - Beautiful Woman's Ring Circa: 1000 - 1650AD (Possibly Older Roman era) This is a Very Rare Ancient Medieval era (possibly older Roman) Gold Band Ring with a Beautiful Brilliant Red Center Stone. Stone is fully intact with no cracks or chips. Stone setting, as well as entire ring is very firm, secure and in extraordinarily well preserved condition. All of the settings prongs are intact with only expected wear from extended age. This beautiful band ring is a highly attractive design, perfectly balanced with the bezel. This is a light, yet solid ring, and was designed specifically for a woman's finger. It is very solid, firm, and very well designed. Ring is in magnificent condition with only expected wear from age. A ring of this type, in such well preserved condition, and with such clearly detailed craftsmanship after so many centuries, is extremely difficult to find. This particular style, is a very rare ring from my collection. Ring is at least 350+ years old. (Possibly from much older Roman era). Much of the ring has been professionally cleaned to restore, and display it's original brilliance, beauty and detail. If the new owner so desires further polishing, they may use moderate amounts of silver cream and a soft damp cloth, which will further enhance the ring's full luster and beauty! The Ring's band has been chemically tested, and results are 100% gold positive when tested at 10k. Gold karat is below 10k (around 7 - 9k), and the ring is gold completely throughout the ring as described, not gold plated. In Medieval times they did not have the karat system when creating more solid and durable gold items which were generally a mixture of Gold, Silver and Bronze.
