I love this bird nest with bird. Most likely made during the arts and crafts or possibly art nouveau era. It looks to be signed but I am unable to make out the signature. I have taken some pictures of areas I thought might be signed so maybe you will be able to tell. It measures about 6 inches across and a little over 6 inches tall. I see no damage but there is wear commensurate with the age which I believe to be around 1890s to 1920s. This belonged to my elderly neighbor who just passed away and was a collector of very nice art and crafts era items. There are a couple of little felt round things on the bottom to keep it from scratching a surface or the surface from scratching it which I have not removed but would come off easily if you choose. Perhaps a signature under there? I will leave it for the new owner to explore.
