This auction / buy now offer is for one of a limited number of Stone Fragments from the floor of the Queens free Chapel of st George within the castle of Windsor in England. I have great pleasure in offering this individually boxed stone in this auction. If you are a collector of genuine and unusual Royal collectables this is for you, or perhaps a freind or relative. They make a great talking point at dinner. Dare I mention a Christmas present to one of those hard to buy for relatives! The stone with all the additional bits would make a very unusual gift indeed. The stone comes to you boxed as it was approx 25 years ago. I have included a close up from the printed scroll that will come in each box as it contains some of the history to the stone and the background to the origin of its history. Each A5 box will come to you packed as in the first picture. However for illustration purposes I have framed the certificate. This frame is not included however it demonstrates how this could look displayed on the sideboard.Included in each box is:The pouch and stone fragment. A 1973 Pitkin Pictorial guide to St Georges Chapel. (a collectable in its own right)The parchment style printed Certificate. Not shown here but sent with your purchase are the following two other documents of a certification. One is a letter from Windsor Castle from the then Chapter Clerk confirming the stock this is dated 2001 .I have also photographed the page of the March 2000 issue of Majesty magazine here in England which shows how the advert ran here over 7 years ago. A copy of the letter from the castle and Majesty advert will be sent with each purchase as well as the information that is packed in the origional box. This will demonstrate and authenticate the gift item as genuine. I understand that this stock was origionally destined to go to the US over 20 years ago and for some reason did not. Most were sold in the end by Majesty magazine in the UK for approx $55-00 8 years ago. The origional destination was The Daily Record Park Place Morris town New Jersey. I have some stock labelled in the origional boxes packed ready for shipping. Shipping label can be e mailed if requested.I am offering these as they were packed with the additional information mentioned above. (A copy of the letter from Windsor Castle as well as the advert page from Majesty Magazine.) The boxes are like small time capsules appart from a quick check prior to shipping, they have been left as they were packed all that time ago.They look great on a display shelf. I have already found some interested buyers in the USA and Canada. I am offering this as an ongoing auction. Although it is a private collection I have no room for the boxes now and have decided to spread them around the world. Your purchase will be sent by Royal Mail recorded and tracked delivery from the UK and signed for service. Some buyers have already opted for an additional box which can be packed for an additional $16 each. Please make the request for this prior to purchase. An additional 3 boxes can be sent like this with the main purchase in one carton. Due to the stone sizes and slight weight variations in the packs I will be sending the delivery by Airsure. The average delivery cost has been worked out and revised slightly up to account for this variation in international delivery as well. This is still cheaper than the sale price 8 years ago.
