Up for bids is this very unusual and rare sterling silver invalids spoon.It measures only 3.75 inches,with a short curved handle.It is marked sterling 925/1000.It weighs 10 grams.Also it says pat.Mar.7 89.It is hand wrought,but has no makers mark.I believe it is from 1789,but could be 1889.The style is unusual,so I'm leaning towards the earlier date.It came from an estate that had many antiques between 100-200 years old.If you have any questions,feel free to write.Thank you.
